In the beginning, there was only Amma, the supreme creator, who existed as a cosmic egg. Within this egg lay the four elements and the seeds of all things, waiting to be brought into being. Amma began to vibrate, a movement that would release the creative forces of the universe. However, the first attempt at creation was imperfect. One of the beings inside the egg, Ogo, became impatient. Seeking to rule the universe himself, he broke out of the egg prematurely, stealing some of the creative seeds and descending into the void to create his own world. This act introduced disorder and dryness into the universe. To restore balance, Amma sacrificed another of his creations, one of the celestial Nummo twins. The blood of the sacrificed Nummo purified the earth, and its parts were scattered to create the stars and the living world. Amma then sent the remaining Nummo twins down to Earth in a great ark to teach humanity the secrets of weaving, agriculture, and the word. Through this sacrifice and the guidance of the Nummo, the chaos of Ogo was contained, and the world achieved a fragile, beautiful harmony.
True creation requires patience and sacrifice; seeking power through shortcuts only leads to chaos and disorder.
The moral emphasizes that the universe is built on a delicate balance of order and chaos. It teaches that impatience and selfishness lead to destruction, while sacrifice and cooperation are necessary to sustain life.
