The Kingdom of Women

During their arduous pilgrimage to the West, Tang Sanzang and his disciples arrived at the Kingdom of Women, a land where no men resided. Thirsty from their travel, Tang Sanzang and Pigsy drank from the Mother-and-Child River, unaware that its waters caused instant pregnancy. After Sun Wukong braved the True-Immortal of Power to obtain water from the Abortion Well to cure them, the party entered the capital. The Queen, struck by Tang Sanzang's grace and virtue, proposed marriage, offering him her throne and her heart. While Pigsy was tempted by the feast, the monk remained steadfast in his Buddhist vows. Recognizing that worldly love was as much a trial as any demon, Sun Wukong devised a ruse: they would pretend to accept the marriage to obtain the official travel permit. At the city gates, Tang Sanzang thanked the Queen for her kindness but bowed and departed, proving that his devotion to the scriptures outweighed the greatest of earthly temptations.

The moral
